Short Reviews

Short Reviews are to be summaries similar to what you would say if a friend asked you to describe a particular anime series. Short, to the point, highlighing only key areas of interest. Each member is allowed to post one review on every anime/game. While you may not edit reviews, you can delete them. Members may also vote reviews up or down.

Login. Load the anime or game page. Enter review in the review box, hit submit.

Anime Information

While anime information isn't our speciality, it's nice to have. You can help out by filling in the blanks in the anime info charts.

Login. Load the anime or game page. Click 'Edit this page', enter the detail you wish to add, hit post.

Character Images

Most characters only have one image, and worse yet, that image is not always the greatest. If you have another image of a character, please upload it.

Login. Find character. Select Image, hit Upload.

Anime Images

Each anime is often added with only the basic cast of characters. We need your help with getting images and names of all main, sub, and extra characters that exist in the anime or tag.

Tags

-about-

Tags provide a chance to index characters on nearly every trait imaginable. We need your help tagging characters, as to provide people with even more ways of finding a particular character. Tags may include things they are wearing, their hair style, their personality, or anything you wish to say about them. Tags are limited to one word per tag. If you wish to use more than one word, join them with the _ character.

Promotion

Anime Characters Database is only a year old, and we need your help spreading the word about the site so we can continue to grow.

Tell a friend about the site. Add a link to ACDB on your web site or blog. Add a link to the site in your signature on forums.

Adding New Characters

Have an image of a character from an anime not in the database? If you can provide the name of the anime series the character is from, an admin will try to add both the anime and the character to the database.

Login. Goto this page. Select Image, tag with name and anime, hit Upload.

Adding New Animes

We're working hard to add every anime series to the database. You can help out here by requesting a missed anime series be added.

Request the anime on the forums. Or ask Jino on IRC.

Character Groups

-about-

Help make the database interesting by adding new or established groups of characters. Established groups, are groups that exist wthin the anime. Such as the Hokage's from Naruto, or the Minami Family Members in Miname-Ke. New groups can be anything you wish.

Use the Group CP. Enter the name an description of group, hit create. Find a character, then select the group to add them to.
