In general, this is not a very violent series. But it does have moments of extreme violence. An arm being cut off in one episode, and people being killed in others. |

If this was just fighting, I would have rated it at low. But when you add attempted rape, medium really doesn't rate it high enough. I don't believe this anime raises to the level of Attack on Titan. |

Although the violence is minimal, this is a military anime. Deaths do happen. Thus my rating. |

The duration of violence is pretty short, so it could be considered Low to some people. But the kind of violence is pretty extreme. Walls completely covered in blood, children being shot in the head ( from the first 2 episodes ). |

Being a series about military conflict, there is plenty of fighting during the wars. The violence is neither excessive nor cruel. There is some blood, plenty of injuries, and the occasional decapitation. People are more so defeated than killed. And the anime replaces any loss of limbs seen in the manga with broken arms / legs. |

Some episodes have rather high amounts of violence. No gore, no horror, no dismemberment, no death. Just some unrealistic injuries and medical stuff. Like body organs being removed. |
