Well if I am including the Winter 2011 anime then I would have to say that Freezing is the most violent anime that I have ever watched in my life. Bloodbaths even in training. Limbs ripped off, yes lots of them get ripped off in this anime.

So is it worth watching, aside from the bloodbaths?

I'm pretty surprised no one mentioned "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni".

That anime is pretty damn violent! There ARE anime that are far worse, yes, though Higurashi is STILL pretty damn violent. XP

On that note, only one other person mentioned "Gantz", and that, by far, is the MOST violent/gory anime I've seen! The anime is one thing, but the manga gets excruciatingly NAUSEATING!!

@KozashiKyo I know! Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is one of my favorite violent animes. I AM surprised no one put it on this forum. I can watch Saw without blinking, but in some scenes in Higurashi, I just can't handle.

As I'm reading (quickly) this topic, I wonder how any human/mangaka spirit, as crazy as posssible, can lay such horrible ideas out of their head. That's to say, there ARE shocking moments, even in Soul Eater , that traumatized me (Medusa bloodily cut in pieces by Spirit and Stein in manga's volume 6 for example ). So that this topic gives me the creeps O.O xD
