Zekua Melon was a former wizard, adventure novelist, and the father of Kaby Melon. He was blackmailed by Duke Everlue to write an adventure book about the Duke, or lose his and his family's citizenship. He instead wrote a letter to Kaby, and used a spell to encode it as the aforementioned novel.
