They were shipwrecked while traveling. She and her younger sister Minori drifted ashore onto the island.

Furthermore she's a masochist, and since drifting ashore onto the island, which is home to suspicious flora and fauna, she has been actively satisfying her desires in that area.

So, after meeting Reijirou, she's more than willing to initiate sex in order to escape, but she also doesn't want to leave the island.
