Neseres was in shock at what had just happened. "What? You're just going to send me off just like that? You didn't even hear my side of the story! I thought the ancient court was there for the people!" he hissed. The man sitting in front of him scowled. "Look, boy, I would listen if I had time for this. We are dealing with something more important at the moment. Go back to playing with your toys." he grumbled. Neseres snarled in anger. "NO, you are going to listen to my story." he growled. The man seemed indifferent and looked him in the eye.

"Okay. We will help you on one condition."

"What is it?"

"Help us find the Ancient Tome. Then, you can talk to us."

Neseres nodded with determination. "You'll see. I will do this, and YOU WILL LISTEN!!!" he roared. He stormed out and looked at the pale moon. Now, he just had to find someone who might be willing to help him on his quest.

Scorch moved quietly in the light of the moon, trying desperately not to get caught again sneaking around the ancient court chambers. It was worth the risk though. There was no forest around that had enough space to practice spear techniques like the one surrounding the courthouse.

He pulled out his spear as he circled a tree and froze almost instantly when he saw someone standing outside. He ducked behind the trunk in the blink of an eye and held his breath. He was so focussed on keeping his entire body hidden that he had completely forgotten that he was still holding his spear... which was poking out from the behind the tree and quite noticeable in the moonlight.

Neseres sighed and nervously looked around when the glint of a spear caught his eye. He tilted his head. "...Eh? What in the world's going on...?" he muttered undre his breath. He walked towards it and peeked over the trunk.

"Eh? You seem familiar... maybe I saw you at the village..."he grumbled under his breath. He tilted his head. "In anycase, it's quite dangerous sneaking around these grounds. Don't worry. They made me mad, so I'll shut up... unless..." he said, remembering his quest. He laughed evilly for effects, making it so that the people inside the court could not hear. He needed some help and he might as well have some fun.

He stopped laughing and crossed his arms.

[A blood dragon is pretty much a dragon that sucks blood, with other very powerful abilities.]

Sylveona quietly crept through the ancient court chambers. She didn't want to get in big trouble, so she lurked in the shadows. Her hair and bangs glowed a little in the moonlight, so she had to make sure she wouldn't get caught. "What will I do?" she wondered as she kept surveying the area. Then, she heard an evil laugh.

She crept towards an old oak tree and spotted two people. "Dragons?!" she shrieked a little, for she was never good at becoming friends with dragons like herself. She was too scared, so she bumped the tree branch, making it rustle. She stood immobilized, afraid of what would happen next.

Scorch almost tripped over his tail as he backed away from the tree, his eyes wide as someone spoke from behind him. He clutches his spear nervously as the man started to laugh evilly. Oh man was he in so much trouble this time! His mum and dad were gonna ground him for sure. He decided to resort to the only thing he seemed to be good at: talking.

"Look, I can explain! My mum is General Blaze. You know Blaze, right? Leader of the fire dragon army? Well, my grades are really bad and I just needed a place to practice. If I don't do well in school my mum's gonna start making me join the drills and I don't wanna embarrass my family anymore. I'm bad enough at weapons as it is. I just needed to practice, I swear I didn't hear nothing! Honest! I just came to prac..." he looked around as he heard some branches rustling nearby, his grip tightening on his spear. "Hey! I think someone else is here!"

Sylveona snapped out of her fear and crept toward a branch. She looked at the dragons once more as she remained silent. "Should I approach?" she thought. Her eyes widened when she heard the name General Blaze. "That name........... it's......... familiar!" she thought. Lately, her memory has been foggy, so she couldn't remember much.

She took a deep breath as she was making her final decision. She finally stepped out of the shadows and stood before the two dragons. She bowed, but her body tingled with fear once more. "Who are these people?!" she thought. She slowly gulped, and she was too afraid to speak. "H-hello," she managed to say, and she went silent again.

Neseres frowned. "Alright, alright! I won't report you..." he mumbled. Then, he noticed someone walk out of the shadows and bow. The color of her eyes and hair led him to the conclusion that she was a water dragon. He greeted her after she did the same for them.

He heard the doors of the court open, and the person coming out spotted them. Neseres recognized him as the dragon he had spoken to.

The dragon seemed to ignore Neseres, and he looked at Scorch and Comet. "What are you two doing here...?" he grumbled. Neseres quickly thought of an explanation and prepared to dump all of his blood dragon charm into it.

"They're friends." he lied smoothly. "I was feeling nervous, so I asked them to walk me here. I hope that's okay, sir..."

The man seemed suspicious, but he let them go anyway. "Alright... but if I find any of you sneaking around, I wiII report you." he told them. With that, he walked to wherever he had been going before.
