Soul was a late bloomer, sure. He hadn't been able to go to DWMA until a year after usual. He hadn't had a home until then: it was only when someone had morphed into a scythe into his very eyes and able to fought with the help of a partner, someone that he knew. After that, he had registered at the DWMA, after the scythe had explained what was going on.

So, here he was, strolling down the halls when he walked into the library and he noticed a girl hiding under the table and a guy talking to her. Soul walked over to them, silent and as solemn looking as death. He had heard jokes about how he looked when he was serious. Sol looked at the guy. "...Hello." he murmured.

Grace looked up to see the boy right at here. "D-don't hurt m-me!" she cried out, turning red. She looked above the boy to see ANOTHER boy before her. "Oh god, I'm in trouble..........," Grace thought. She shivered hard under the table. Her skin stopped boiling, but she grew very lightheaded. "Oh god, no..........," she said softly. Suddenly, she passed out under the table.

Soul was alarmed. He sat down by her side and shook her gently. "Hey, wake up." He hissed. He looked at the other boy and shrugged. "...she needs to go to the nurse." He said. He suddenly felt annoyed for having to speak so much.

Phoenix stood up slowly. "You Can Take Care Of Her, I'm Going Out Front." he said before grabbing his book and leaving into the halls. He didn't like getting to close to people, but there was something different about this girl. Phoenix walked up to the guy he saw the girl talking to before she entered the library and Poked his finger on his forehead. "Your Lady Friend Is Passed Out In The Library."

Grace suddenly woke up from a terrible nightmare. She looked up at the boy that recently appeared. She blushed hard as she looked at him. He seemed like a very quiet fellow. Grace nodded at the boy and sat under the table. She was intimidated by the new boy. She shivered, but not from the draft, but from fear. Fear she was not allowed to feel.

She didn't know how to thank the boy, but she had an idea. She took out a star-shaped amulet out of her pocket and put it around the boy's neck. She gave a shy smile and blushed.

Soul was surprised wheen she put the amulet around his neck. He looked at her. "You okay?" He asked softly.

He wondered whether the girl was a meister or a weapon. He was special--- he could be either. Apparently it was very rare.

Soul noticed she was intimidated by him and frowned. He didn't like people to be intimidated.

Grace looked up at the boy and saw him frown. "Don't be sad," she said softly. She looked around to see they were the only two in the library. He heard the boy ask if she was okay, and she shyly nodded. She wondered about this boy. She didn't want to ask him if he was a meister or a death weapon, so she kept quiet about it. "What........," she began to ask, but her voice trailed off. She felt too weak to say anything.

Soul nodded. He looked at her, and it seemed to him that she was curious about him as well. He smiled. "Are you a meister or a weapon?" He asked.

He honestly hoped she was a weapon. He could be either a weapon or a meister, but for reasons he alone knew, he found it hard to transform into a weapon himself.

Grace stared at the boy intently. "M-meister, just without a death weapon," she stammered. She couldn't believe he was curious about it too. "What............ is your name?" she asked him softly. Her face turned red. She never meant to ask him, but she just wanted to know. "What............ are you?" she asked him, turning bright red. She had never been this shy before in her life.
