Ryuu sighed. "Like I said, I'm not used to vacation. Sometimes I get over excited." he grumbled, rubbing his eye. "Plus, for me it's that time of month."

Onoki narrowed his eyes at Ryuu in confusion. Time of the month....? He was too afraid to ask and was grateful for Gorao's distraction.

"Ah, we kind of take any job..." he stopped himself before he said dangerous, "I'm afraid I'm not much help though... Ryomo's kinda saved us all through some tricky situations..."

He laughed, still rather nervous around her gigantic dad and taller muscular brother. Good god, Ryomo's family was starting to make him feel so un-manly and small. Maybe he should work out more?... but that takes too much effort...

"That's good to hear. Though she is practically only useful when she's been fed, or had some sort of candy in her system." Gorao said with a laugh.

At that Ryomo nodded. "I am pretty cool and useful. Oh, and either Onoki or Ryuu usually has some sort of candy, so I'm practically set."

"So what are your guys's magic?" Her brother asked. "I didnt get magic, only Monkey did. She got it from Grandma, our Mom's mom." He told them. "But me and Pops got the abnormal growth thing working for us."

Ryuu shifted. "Well, I told Ryomo and Okoni because they're my team mates. But they probably don't beleive me anyway...It's pretty unbeleivable and some people freak out." he replied. Hotaru smiled. "Healing. I'm a cleric." she answered. Ryuu looked at her. "You're a cleric? Hotaru, not that there's anything wrong with the field, but I don't like clerics. It's a field based on healing magic, so the studiers aren't very strong and get beaten up in battle." he groaned. "If you pick another one, I'd be fine... and practice it with clerical magic, then I'd be fine with it. I'd actually even be impressed."

Onoki had to laugh at that. she was useless without food? She seemed to cope better than he did!

"Abnormal growth? I hardly noticed," he joked, "I've got transformation magic, I can make almost any inanimate object move."

He looked around Ryomo's home. This village seemed like a nice place, he was glad they decided to come along. No stresses or surprise visits from relatives that he would rather not see, just good company, good scenery, good food. He could get used to this...

Hotaru turned to Ryuu. "Excactky what do you do? For a job, I mean. You said you had five jobs." she asked. "I'm in a band, I sell Takoyaki, I'm in the guild, and I run a sushi restaraunt." he said. "That's four," Hotaru replied. "You're hiding something. And what did you mean, 'that time of the month'?"

Ryuu sighed. "Well, I produce energy really fast, and I use that for my spells and other stuff I do. But every month, there's a time when I have waaaay too much, and so I lose all of it. Quickly." he replied. He turned to Ryomo.
"So. Um. Um..." he said. Then he realized something... "Ryomo, I have trouble talking to you when we're on vacation or something, I don;t know what to talk about..." he grumbled.

."Yeah, the growth is genetic, and a bit of a hassle. But Its good for intimidation." Gorao said with a sort of chuckle.

"Lucky for Monkey, we'd be calling her Ape if she got the gene." he snickered.

"Awww, shutup!" Ryomo whined.

"So, do you All like it here? Its definately a change if you were used to bigger towns and cities. It was quite a change for me and Suze too." He said as if he was thinking.

After hearing Ryuu's comment Ryomo thought for a second.

"Yeah, we don't talk much do we...but you always seem to keep to yourself..." she said simply.

"Maybe he likes you!" Jinji snickered.

"Oh, Sh-shutup!"

"Oh, have you taken interest in my daughter?" he asked curiously

Ryuu scratched his head. "Er, maybe. Not exactly. I really am barely attatched to Hotaru in any other way than the average crowd that I seem to 'hang out' with. Ryomo is something else, though. Different. I will have to get to know her some time." he said. He looked towards Okoni. Questions like that made him uncomfortable. Unfortunately for him, he was bad at showing when he was uncomfortable...

Hotaru looked at Ryuu. Oh, so she was nothing special towards him. It kind of made sense, because sometimes it was OBVIOUS that Ryuu was afraid to get into ANY intimate relationship. Even with her.

(omg Kana, I only just noticed that you have been misspelling my characters name since forever! His name is oNOki, not okoni. o-NO -ki.)

"Heh, leave the kid alone, he's already got Hotaru." Onoki chuckled, ruffling the kid's hair after seeing his desperate attempt to get out of the conversation. Realising that left the next target to be him he quickly changed the subject and prayed that they wouldn't notice. "I grew up in the big city and never really went far from it. It's a nice change out here, really peaceful."

He was starting to get suspicious of Ryuu now. What did he mean by saying that Ryomo was "special"? Was he trying to muscle in on his girl?... Well, she wasn't really his girl... but whatever! He felt like giving the kid a good shake but decided to leave that til they were alone.

Ryomo blushed. She didn't expect that answer from Ryuu at All. She put her face down a little, to hide it from her family....
'But Onoki seems to think Ryuu likes Hotaru...'

"I seee." Gorao said, though he took mental note of Ryuu.

"Yep. Pretty sure he likes you Monk."

"Sh-Shutup!" Ryomo said nervously. She really didn't know what to make of All this. Perhaps she'd ask Onoki, he seemed to know quite a bit...

"Dinner is ready!" Suzume said as she popped in the room for a second.

They then proceeded to go to the dining room. Where a feast could be seen, arrayed in a fantastic manner
