I was playing Smash or Pass, and it showed me characters from My Little Pony, one of the old Batman cartoons, and old Disney movies. Pretty sure those aren't anime.

We started allowing characters from all more animated sources into the database as of 2018.

That said, I am planning to accommodate those who would prefer a pure Japanese Anime selection of characters.

It's already possible, on top of the smash or pass area there are filter options, just remember to press "Apply Filter" for it to work.

As a Disney fan, I find it great to see some western animation characters here. (BTW, I created a page for Tangled: The Series )

That’s a nice decision. But the site is called ANIME characters database so adding here cartoon characters seems ridiculous and insulting to anime. :/ Or it would be better to rename the site then...
