Rei We started allowing characters from all more animated sources into the database as of 2018. That said, I am planning to accommodate those who would prefer a pure Japanese Anime selection of characters.

That’s a nice decision. But the site is called ANIME characters database so adding here cartoon characters seems ridiculous and insulting to anime. :/ Or it would be better to rename the site then...
