Thanks 13x31. It looks alright, but with this type of banner layout - her hair on the right side would have a straight line cutoff.

I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed banners for the site. And many thanks to 13x31 for spearheading this awesome project! These banners became a defining feature of Anime Characters Database in 2011.

For 2012, I want to go in a new direction with a new theme, new layout, and a single banner of my choosing.

I kinda figured after looking at it a little, but since I didn't really have to do anything to it beside cut it up, I figured I'd post it since I was already there.

Maybe I'll find some usable material eventually. We'll see what happens.

No problem. It was fun and exciting to see what came out of it all.

Finally finished after having to redo it due to a ext4 journal write failure, but since it was easier to grab the entire original from Chrome's history, I worked with that instead of the one that had the white background (which was retouched and compressed probably with M$ Paint).




Yes, the hair lock in front of her right arm actually cuts off like that in the original and is not my doing.

If I'm up to it, I might do a search on danbooru for "red_hair" and "kneeling" in one search and see what it comes up with. Being sick is not totally fun! lol

It's the unpredictable thumbnailing. hehe

The originals look fine. I'll post a screenshot of how it looks next rotation.


Red hair looks the best on the blue background. That could be changed along with the entire color structure of the site.

Yeah, that got me when I uploaded Asuka, then I read the bbcode and it all made sense. Silly JPEGs lol
