We began as a visual search engine for and Japanese anime and Visual Novel characters. With over 142000 characters indexed by eye color, hair color, hair length, apparent gender, animal ears and age - we provide you with a means to filter through our characters to find the one you're wanting identified.

When you know the character by name, we have an A-Z directory to browse, as well as a name search at the top of the site.

We have an alternate visual search that allows for some additional filtering. Sort Characters can help you visual search characters on your Family Tree, Up, Down, Favorites, Love, Hate, and your Uploads.

I've also made a tool I call Anime With to help find anime with particular characters. I'm quite a fan of animal eared characters and it helps me spot any recent animes with animal ear characters.

Another interesting tool is Group Cosplay. I was asked to make this by beppe9000 who wanted to be able to find anime's that had characters matching their group of friends. Say you wanted a man and woman with blue eyes and one character with animal ears - you could see 8 series and the characters meeting that criteria.
