Hello, everyone! Today I present to you the ultimate Japanese treat:

Enjoy this undeniable favourite snack from Japan! The classic thin crunchy cookie sticks dipped in creamy chocolate are waiting for you now. Pocky was first sold in 1966 and consists of chocolate-coated biscuit sticks. The original was followed by almond coatings in 1971, and strawberry coatings in 1977. Today, the product line includes variations as milk, mousse, green tea, honey, banana and coconut flavoured coatings, and themed products such as "Decorer Pocky," with colorful decorative stripes in the coating, and "Men's Pocky," a dark (bittersweet) chocolate and "mature" version.

And now for Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!

Answer to yesterday's question: Pokémon's family-friendly charm is confirmed by the record-breaking five members of the Arnold family from Frankfort, Illinois, USA, who take part in official Pokémon videogame world championships. The family include Ryan, mum Linda, Ryan's twin David, dad Glenn and youngest child Grace.

Today's question: Name 15 Pocky Flavours that are not given here.

If you would like to submit your answer you can send it to cirno@animecharactersdatabase.com, or send me a PM. I will give you the answer tomorrow.

With winter coming, many of us try to stay indoors and away from the cold. For those days when risking your life on the outside is unavoidable, and you just can't seem to keep warm, we have:

Hello Kitty Hand Warming Pads

These little cloth bags warm up when you open the plastic wrapping, and they stay warm for up to 7 hours. Since it can fit into your pocket, it's perfect for sports, skiing, or any time when you feel cold and just can't warm up. These warming pads feature adorable art of Hello Kitty printed on them. How do they work? Air-activated hand warmers contain cellulose, iron, water, activated carbon (evenly distributes heat), vermiculite (water reservoir) and salt (catalyst) and produce heat from the exothermic oxidation of iron when exposed to air. They typically emit heat for 1 to 10 hours.

And now for Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!
Yesterday's answer: The largest collection of Pokémon memorabilia belongs to Lisa Courtney (UK), with 14,410 different items as of 14 October 2010, which she has been collecting for over 14 years. Her collection includes items from the UK, USA, France and of course Japan. She has made several trips to Japan for the specific purpose of collecting Pokémon merchandise, each time sending between 8-12 boxes full back to the UK. Part of the collection (including her GWR certificate) has been displayed at the Museum of Hertford as part of an exhibition on popular culture.

Today's question:
Who is the largest competitive Pokémon-video-game family?

You can submit you answer to cirno@animecharactersdatabase.com, or you can send me a PM. I will provide the correct answer in tomorrow's post.

Have you ever wondered how Japanese school girls manage to keep their sock up? If you've ever worn extra long socks like that, you probably know how they can be a nuisance sliding down. So now we have the solution! The Japanese school girl sock secret exposed:

Here's some authentic socks glue for you, straight from Japan -- an incredible handy water-based glue that you apply to your calf to ensure your socks don't fall down. Long socks go great with authentic high school uniforms, or make your next cosplay awesome! This special glue is also great for sticking over-the-knee socks or thigh-high stockings. Never worry about your socks falling down again!

And now for Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!

The answer to yesterday's question: Maglev (short for magnetic levitation) is a system of transportation that uses magnetic levitation to suspend, guide and propel vehicles with magnets rather than using mechanical methods, such as wheels, axles and bearings. With maglev a vehicle is levitated a short distance away from a track using magnets to create both lift and thrust.

Maglev trains move more smoothly and somewhat more quietly than wheeled mass transit systems. Their non-reliance on friction means that acceleration and deceleration can surpass that of wheeled transports, and they are unaffected by weather.

The highest speed attained by a manned superconducting maglev train is 581 km/h (361 mph) by the MLX01, operated by the Central Japan Railway Company and Railway Technical Research Institute, on the Yamanashi Maglev Test Line, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, on 2 December 2003.

Today's question:
Who in the world has the largest collection of Pokémon stuff?

If you would like to submit your answer you can send it to cirno@animecharactersdatabase.com, or send me a PM. I will give you the answer tomorrow.
