Mitsugu Mouryou’s Anime Review
Hand Maid May is one of my more favored short and pointless animes. It’s great example of pointless~happy~fun~time, with a diverse cast of cyber dolls, predictable best friend/ worst enemy, a rather striking neighbor/ landlord, the veteran voices of Wendee Lee and Michelle Ruff, and you got the formula for great background noise! Though you may have seen the format and the jokes before they’re well delivered and rather enjoyably. All that said the worst anime cliché imaginable is highly prevalent… that is how May constantly professes to “Do her Best” which just annoys the crap out of me. Given that, I’d rate Hand Maid May, a 2.8 good fun, and worthy of background noise, though it is short with only 13 episodes.
Thank you MMAR5
