Noble the sugar fairy is Maya's best friend and guardian in the Land of Dreams. He was sent by Helula to help Maya on her journey to the Land of South; when the two first met, Maya was reluctant to accept Noble's help but after he saves her from an attack by Cassandra, Maya and Noble became friends. Noble has the ability to shape-shift and turn himself into dragonfly and also into liquid sugar. Noble is very courageous and has saved Maya on numerous occasions. Although brave, Noble is deathly afraid of water because it can melt him due to him being made of sugar.
