I really want the ability to change character roles only in specific titles, since especially in comic book adaptations, characters can go from villain to hero or from major character to minor character.

I think this should be on top of the current role system though, so we don't have to change it for every character every time they're added to a new title.

Fixed the bug getting in the way of adding multiple extra details like when a series has 10 directors

please add the following characters in Kamihime Project: Poseidon, Stribog, Odin, Tyr, Beelzebub, Boreas, Gawain, Arthur, Asmund, Achilles, Motu, Mokosh, Volos, Bugbear, Lilith, Saint Nicholas, Jack Frost, Frey, Rusalka, Chernobog, Belobog, Undine, Daphne, Balrog, Cetus, Basilisk, Aji-Dahaka, Iwanaga-Hime, Pegasus, Astraea, Marduk, Beowulf, Durga, Astaroth, Zephyrus, etc.

I'll see about adding director and links to the menu tomorrow.

When there's more than one, you can use

Character Designer: name 1
Character Designer: name 2

@Rei You should probably add ＂Director/Directed by＂ to that list.

And if it's supposed to now be possible to add more than one ＂character design＂ field, that doesn't work yet.

Also, I think these new pages should be linked to the anime section in the dropdown menu.

The labels do get a lot of aliases, so I am collecting those.

Creator, Story, Writer, Author - are often pointing in the same direction.

If there are multiple character designers, it is fine to add

Character Designer: name 1
Character Designer: name 2
Character Designer: name3

The system will handle that.

Another field those pages should grab from is ＂Illustrator＂. I use that for mangas instead of ＂character designer＂.
Also there's no shortcut to these new pages outside of this chatbox, at least as far as I can tell. That should probably be fixed.

And another thing: some series have more than one person working on the same aspect (for example, the World Trigger anime lists two character designers and JoJo's Bizarre Aventure (2012) has separate staff members for parts 1 and 2, including character designers). If multiple names are listed in the same field, are these pages able to list them separately?

@Rei I hope you can make those pull from the ＂Mechanical Designer＂ field, and also from character extra details, specifically ＂Character Designer＂ and ＂Mechanical Designer＂ (and also ＂Design Clean-Up＂ and ＂Redesign＂, which I might add to the extra details of some Gundam machines)

Also there are repeat inputs of characters when the same character assigned to different series with same character designer.

Just a question, if there is a multiple artist working on the characters, should I assign them within single extra details lable or insert them individually?

Also in the same case, I think there should be a way to assign artist to each character.

That's just my input for now.

The way I designed Extra Details, it's tricky to make a decent search tool.

I've updated the search to check label or value for characters and series

I think it would help if you were able to search for anime and character extra details at the same time

It's very sad losing Akira Toriyama.

I'm going to work on making it easier to find titles he created, and characters he designed.

I'll be adding a Creator and Character Designer check on anime titles, should anyone be interested in adding that data.
