First, what does the "Known Stats" section of the characters mean? The table with "Unknown", "Common", and "Famous"

And my suggestion is a little indicator on character pages saying whether they've won a character of the week/month ^^ but like I said, I'm sorry if that sounds dumb. I know next to nothing about coding so I don't know how difficult that'd be.

easy, by the number of views of a characters page, one can label them "unknown" - hardly visited; "Common" - gets its nice share of visits; and "Famous" - its gets frequently viewed. like per example, Naruto, or Ichigo. those would get alot of views frequently.

The Known Stats was one attempt to improve the accuracy of the database.

The idea being we could index characters by how well they are known. Think of this in combination with the Who's This Character board.

If a character you marked famous appeared in a post, you'd be able to answer from memory the name and series.

If a character you marked Common appeared, you'd have to do a little research to find the full answer, but you'd know where to start. Either their name, or the series.

Now characters you marked as Unknown, you'd have no idea their name or source.




But anyways, looking back on how this feature has played out, it's probably redundant. We can consider characters that people love / have on their favorites as famous, and the rest are more or less unknown.

okay so, when you post something in the lounge, you get a #top in the url, so you don't have to scroll down again right? can you make that happen when you click the little green refresh button too?

and to the second part



I have started doing that. You'll find summaries of the number of nominations for COTM in the side. Also if the character has won, that will appear instead of a Cast Vote box. I'll do the same for COTW when I revisit that code again.




@Cirno while I agree with your request, it's not possible using conventional means. If I added an anchor to the Refresh link (as you suggest), it would cease to refresh, and act only as a jump to point trigger.

There are ways around this... but is it worth the effort?
