This weekend, I'm working on a few new ways to kill time on anime characters database.

Chat Room
Using a combination of AJAX, PHP, and MySQL, I think I'll be able to create chat rooms on the site for members to use.

Guess Who Game
Much like the game guess who, each play gets a certain number of characters, and has to eliminate the other players characters by guessing traits the characters have (teen with long hair, adult with blue eyes). I'll be defining trait combinations to hopefully keep the games long and fair. Otherwise, the first person to guess "teen" and "adult" would have a 95% chance of winning. Haha. Members will be notified when they are challenged to a game, as well, there will be a list of public games (possibly useful when we have more members), and finally the option to play against the computer. Also, there will be a chat window, allowing you to chat with your opponent.

Character Quizzes
The idea is, you see an image, and have to guess the correct name among choices

D)

or you see a name, and have to guess the correct image among choices

B)

D)

I've decided to aware points based on getting the correct answer, and the time it takes you to guess. This way, a reasonably fair scoreboard can be generated showing the people with the highest scores. Guests will also be allowed to play, and if they make it into the top 100, they can sign their name, kinda like you would on an arcade game.

Verb Quiz
No idea when I'll finish this. This idea is you select verbs from my verb database to be quizzed on.
