2022 Comments Reboot
We have had comment systems in the past. Misuse was rampant. Moderation was tough. Spam was all too common. Nobody read The Rules.
We tried a 3rd Party comment system, which also did not work out.
The New System
By default, only posts by Verified Members will be displayed. Any admin can upgrade a member to Verified status - simply demonstrate good behavior.
You'll still see your own posts no matter what.
There'll be Filter options where you can choose to view all posts including Anonymous and Unverified Member posts.
All posts will be considered spam!
All posts will be automatically deleted after 7 days!
Verified Members can choose to preserve and feature worthy posts on Character Profiles ( Click 'Approve?' to toggle 'APPROVED' status )
Anon posts will be subject to the L.A.M.E. filter and badwords filter
Member posts will be subject to the badwords filter
Verified Members can use bbcode
How to Comment
Character profiles will have a comments Tab
By default, it will show your comments + Verified Member comments
You can enable member comments or all comments ( member + anon )
Comments are owned by the poster. Comments can be deleted by the owner. Moderators will delete comments that violate the rules, and ban repeat violators.
