Princess Lover! was decent, I finished it quite fast compared to many other animes and it had a fitting length. But I seem to always have a problem with the main "heroine" and that was the case in this anime as well.

The art is gorgeous, probably the most beautiful art in any anime I've watched (at least that I can think of right now). The eyes really seem empty and sad, which I think is intended.
Both the intro and outro are very good. It's one of the few animes where I didn't feel like skipping either.
The show had more erotic scenes than I expected when I started watching.
Digibro raises a lot of good points in his video about the series, which is linked on the animes page on this site. And while I don't mind all the things he brings up in his video, I do think they are all good points.
The entire show is spent on explaining feelings instead of showing, which I do not particularly like.
Past episode 4 the show became pretty stale and predictable to an extent.
The characters aren't particularly likeable. Actually Hanabi is pretty shit, Ecchan is horrible, Noriko is annoying, Akane is evil and not really realistic (she could so easily be fired as a teacher in the real world).

I remember a few years ago the first chapter of the manga was released. I read it and really liked the idea. A long time passed and no second chapter was translated.
Just the other day I found the anime and thought hell yes I'll watch this. But even though it was ok and only 12 episodes I ofund that I spent around half of it just waiting for it to be over.

I was watching this, then all of a sudden it just ended. A couple of weeks later they released 3 more episodes, they were very long or at least felt like it. But the first 15 episodes (i think it was 15) was quite good.

Very good series, but I don't like the protagonist or the main "heroine". There are also 2 other characters that I hate (Though 1 of them got better). Even though I don't like a lot of the characters, this manga has been able to get my feelings into play like no other manga in a while.
