...so what you want to do is make a "Young Adult" age group? that makes sense, though College student/bishoujo/bishounen kind of doesn't do it justice IMO because there are people in that age group that work and don't go to college.

I understand that you want to go between 18 and 25, though I could make some pretty compelling arguments expanding that age group. whatever, I won't push it.

I suppose I can respect the difference in opinion, so I will shift the focus. The problem remains, that more than half of all characters are in the Teen age category. 4954 female and 618 male of the 8002 total characters.
College Age would allow me to remove somewhere between 1000 and 3000 characters. The new search interface would still permit people to union the two groups together if they wish more generalized results. I see no other alternative to accomplish the same results, and in fact there is a new anime mag in Japan called Comp H's that has the sub title "College Age Women only" which establishes that in Japan at least, that Age appearance is a common and well established theme. I do not listen to arguments against any choice I make, but if you wish to suggest alternative paths, I am all ears. ![]() |

Well, if you really want to put college age in as an age group the question would be how to distinguish between a teen, college age (young) adult, and adult, namely how would you possibly get that information if it isn't provided in the info pages.
