Another option is to allow new members posts to be "moderated" in that a new users posts are only "posted" if approved. I think the biggest problem with 13x31 idea is it is often new members who have the most questions/ the most new ideas and more importantly the most enthusiasm if we prevent them from contributing for x period of time by the time they come out of retirement they might have lost that "spark". Furthermore, if there can be "sleeper spambots" than I imagine that they can program a bot to wait and login x times in y interval then spam.
Of course the problem with my idea is that given enough time there won't be enough mods to keep up. As such I surmise that a new member can post in a thread "Official Full Activation Request" thread and if they post in that thread in a human like manner an Admin will fully activate their account.

Good point, didn't quite think of that. I assumed "no text" would still allow PM, so "no text" recruits would still be able to ask questions via PM to admins/mods/other users.

como yidry no hable con nadie, quizas por eso no os suene, pero meti una harta de imagenes, y meti una serie que no estaba, pero antes era mas facil meterla, ahora es mas dificil, lo averigue al querer meter happy seven, pero terminaron admitiendo la serie,
