Want to watch list
I've seen this on a few other (Anime and Manga) sites. A list where you can say you want to watch an Anime.

Watched list
Almost the same thing, but now a list of an Anime you've already watched.

Information
When you come at a character, game or Anime, you only see its details, and not its story. Maybe something to be added as well?

We do kind of have this feature already. But I removed it about a year ago. I don't feel good about copying other websites, unless I can add a really unique spin to the idea.

Then there was the problem we have more than anime. Getting the labels right ( Want to watch, want to play, want to read, etc ) is something of a challenge, and made all the more annoying when anyone can change a title from an anime to a game to a manga to all-of-the-above.


Anyways, knowing at least one member wants this feature, I think I can work through these minor issues. Plus I'm open to ideas for how we can add a unique flavor to the feature. ^_^

I've re-enabled the old code, so give it a try, and let me know what to improve. Otherwise, I'll do what comes to mind while I rewrite the entire thing today. lol

Hmm, hmm... this is something of a layout challenge. I mean, both features have a gigantic textarea where anything and everything can be writing about the character or series. But where do I put this? If I put it in a container near the bottom of the page - it's there, on the page, but not easy to find. If I put it in the details area, it'll be easier to find but it'll also occasionally push all the other features way down.

I'll try to touch up the characters pages now, and post some before and after pics. I'll try to do the same to the anime and game pages, but they may take a little longer.

Maybe a "tab" setup might solve the issue. Where the characters details are up front and you can "click the tab" to get their other stuff.
So top of page: Details - Info.
This would allow both to be displayed prominently but give "Details" (the main emphasis of this site) right-.of-way.

Isn't every character, game etc. categorized? Else it would be impossible to click "random Anime" or "random Game". If you would use that system to also change the button?

Good point CaptainBrain, I should be able to add a Menu with Tabs fairly easily in the next update.

You're right Waflix. It's going to take some time to get this all coded and tested, but I'm hopeful I'll have the revised version uploaded before the end of the week!
