Hair Up / Indeterminate means their hair is much longer than it appears in the image. For example: These two, DO NOT HAVE THEIR HAIR UP , because we can see what length the hair would be if we let it down. They have ribbons in their hair. Now, take this character for example: Using our rule where the hair ends is the hair length she has shoulder length hair. But, clearly her hair is up, and is longer than that. Therefore, she does have her Hair Up, and can be indexed as so. Now, take this character for example: Again, following our rule, where the hair ends is the hair length, he has ear length hair. However, his hair being worn up the way it is, he has Indeterminate hair. Since we have no idea how long it would be if let down.
