SO, when I joined one of the things I did was I went out of my way to change the "Tanned" tag to match the then "dark-skinned" tag by making it "tan-skinned". The other reason for this was i became clear certain tags stuck out as the creator of them had capitalized them for no apparent reason, especially when we look at the fact the high majority of tags don't use first capitol letters.

I don't know why, but the tag for dark skin is now simply "dark". And the tag for tan skin has been reverted to "Tanned". I recall the site creator mentioning he could change tags at will and they would stay under the same characters.

Long story short: If "dark" is what seems best for dark skinned characters, I personally, and strongly, recommend changing "Tanned" to "tan" with no capital letters.

I'm suggesting tan instead of tanned since you don't know if a character has gone tanning by looking at them unless they have tan lines, making a medium skin-tone which is natural the most logical reason.

You "went out of your way" to confuse me when there was only two tags left in the "tanned" tag. Look, if you seriously have a problem, I even wrote up a guide on which tags to use. Why don't you go and have a look before you decide to make a mess of a very difficult part of the site?

DO NOT just take it upon yourself to change tags because there are mods here (mainly myself and the other character mods) who use them more frequently than you do.
