Bridging Ethernet to Wireless in Mac OS X

A tutorial on how to bridge the Ethernet port to the Wireless card to create a "wireless access point" with your Apple computer. (This allows you to connect a computer that does not have wireless to your Apple computer via Ethernet to enable the computer to have internet).

1: Open System Preferences

2: Click on Sharing

3: Click on the lock and type in your password to unlock the preference pane (if this applies)

4: Click on Internet Sharing (the text and not the box)

5: Select "Airport" from the "Share your connection from:" drop-down menu

6: Check the checkbox next to "Ethernet" in the "To computers using:" list

7: Lock the preference pane (if this applies)

8: Plug the ethernet cable into the computer
