Rin Kokonoe is an elementary school student, 9 years old. The series Kodomo no Jikan, depicts her advancing through school and dealing with some serious growing pains. After losing her mother shortly before beginning school, she takes on a very independant nature. Some may see her as precocious and tsundere, and that's a fair assesment. however, her true charachter begins to take shape further into the story. I'd be in error not to mention that she has a crush on her teacher Daisuki Aioki. Her relentless assault on her 23 year old first-time classroom teacher, leaves even him at a loss for words. The geanra is lolicon, and there are indeed ecchii moments. Still, the story is clearly powerful wheather read or watched. |
