Nagamori is Kouhei's childhood friend, and naturally the first girl you're introduced to when you play. She is a very motherly girl who takes the time to wake Kouhei up every morning for school. She constantly worries about Kouhei and wonders whether he'll find a girlfriend anytime soon. She's the typical friend type--the one who wonders what you're doing and if you're doing okay, but has her own thing to worry about most of the time. Spoilers (regarding both Nagamori's and Kouhei's pasts, and the plot of the game itself) follow.

Nagamori is the girl with whom Kouhei made the pledge to go to the Eternal World. Despite Kouhei treating her like absolute crap, she forgives him, and she is the only girl of the six, save Mio, truly ready for him to disappear when he does.
