Satomura Akane is a classmate of Kouhei's he meets on a dark, rainy day in a vacant lot. It appears she's waiting for something, or someone, but she isn't keen on telling Kouhei what it is until late into her route. Fitting the role of silent moe quite nicely, Akane has trouble opening up to strangers and treats Kouhei rather coldly early on. Interestingly enough, her childhood friend, Yuzuki Shiiko, who appears roughly a third of the way into the game, is an outgoing, energetic girl with a blatant disregard for rules. Opposites attract as always. Satomura has a penchant for cooking (and happens to look absolutely dashing in a pink apron). Spoilers follow. Satomura waits in that empty lot in the rain for a boy she had lost when she was a child. This boy disappeared for much the same reason Kouhei is disappearing--he ventured to the Eternal World, forgotten by all but Akane. |
