Mitsugu Mouryou’s Anime Review
Azumanga Daioh is a cutesy, fun, entertaining slice of life comedy. The animation and character design is a little sub-par, reminiscent of Lucky Star, and like Lucky Star, It doesn’t matter. Azumanga Daioh is good fun, with a slow mellow pace, but the jokes are good, the story lines aren't bad at all, with good character development. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though there was no major conflict, between the zany off beat quirks of the 2 best friend teachers, and wacky antics of the overly ADHA Tomo and the highly ADD Ayumu Osaka, it should keep you entertained as well. Azumanga Daioh, containing no blood, violence, or foul language is good fun for the whole family! I give it a 4.2(out of 10), funny, simple to follow, and ideally suited for repeat viewing even at 50% attention. Thank you MMAR18 |
