Miime is the last surviving member of a race of aliens from the planet Jura. She was rescued by Harlock and joined his crew. She is an excellent musician and has physic powers, which allows her to empathize with crew members in distress. She is a close friend of Harlock's, and frequently can get him to talk about things he wouldn't with someone else. Her personality is generally shy and reserved, but she can also be very strong. Her race doesn't have a mouth, however she can absorb liquid through the same general area. Her race survives almost entirely on alcohol.
