Roger S. Huxley lives in a mountainous area with the other Menodics, a race that never grows taller than three feet high. He makes every effort to prove he's a "real man." He has two underlings and together they take "tests of manhood," hoping to outdo a rival group inside the village. He is immensely curious and even at his young are has a fondness for women. He often uses his youth to act much more innocent than he really is.
