"Huh?" asked Sky as he looked at Krypt. Sky had grown fond of the human's company and it made him sad that the witch hunter was leaving. "Please, can't you stay a while longer. We may need your help in the future." said Sky trying to persuade Krypt to stay with the group.

Malice heard someone's voice saying "I've decided now. I'm leaving." His heart stopped for a second, but then he cooled down. He heard Sky ask him what his business was here, and he scowled. "I told you. It's an interesting group you have here... Now, where is Crimson...?" he mumbled.

Sky's emotion quickly changed and he said, "As if you didn't know, Crimson left. I tried to convince him to stay but he just wouldn't listen to me.".

Midnight was very sad. She was in love with Crimson, but she knew that wouldn't work out. She feared it was her fault that he nearly died. "Good luck Crimson.............," she whispered softly. She kneeled to the ground and stared at the ground, feeling like a fool.

Krypt kneeled down in front of Midnight, "Uhh, Midnight... W- Would You Like To Come With Me?" he said winking with his remaining eye. He knew he wouldn't be able to survive alone with just one eye, "You Kinda Owe Me One~"

Midnight burst into tears and nodded. "Yes!" she cried out loud. She did owe him one, and nearly cost him his life. She felt she needed to help him. "Take me with you.........," she said softly so that only Crimson could hear.

Krypt pulled Midnight into a huggle, "When Do You Want To Leave?" he said scratching his hiead. He had finished his contract and hoped to retire one day. Yes, he's young, but Krypt wanted to settle down and have a family.

Midnight looked up at Crimson. "Can we leave now?" she asked. She wanted to leave this hell, with someone that would help her escape it. Crimson appeared to be the person to help her. "Release me of this hell...........," she whispered softly.

Malice noted this exchange and delighted in the fact that the witch hunter did not feel the evil energy that radiated from an open grimoire. After all, he prefered to keep Merlin alive, especially since Merlin gave him a home.

All the sudden, a scream was heard. Malice tensed. He did not like screams. It meant that someone was in danger. Sure, sometimes he didn't give a rat's ass, but most of the time he wanted to save anyone he could. This scream sounded particularly troubled. Then he smelled something, and his eyes widened. "If you're going to leave alive, you do need to leave now. I smell trouble, fo all of us." He whispered.

A twig cracked behind them. "Oh, you can run all you want. Still, I'll kill you all if I can. I'll track you down... and I'm especially interested in you, Malice." A cold voice said. Malice swore. "You are not killing anyone, Lere. Not if I can help them." He hissed.

Lere was a little girl. She was a necromancer, and Malice knew that they did not have the resorces to kill her. There are only three ways to kill a necromancer, and since his venom supply was empty at the moment, none were available.

Lere walked towards Crimson and formed a ball of something that was evil, and deadly. She readied and threw it, and Malice pounced. Lere threw the ball at him and he reeled. With his last energy, Malice knocked Lere unconscious and was aware of a wound and looked to his chest, realizing that he would bleed to death, but he didn't care. "Leave... we... can't kill her now, amd she won't stay unconscious forever." Malice said weakly. He crumpled to the ground and his breathing became labored. He silently cursed the Death Witch.

Midnight saw the basilisk crumble to the ground. She walked over and leaned over him. She took out a magic orb out of her pocket. Then, she slipped it in Malice's chest. "This will save you..........," she whispered before she started to walk away from him.
