Finn is an unemployed young man that lives in an orphanage. He makes a living by picking pockets, though it is all in good faith since the money he makes goes to the orphanage to help the children.
After accidentally listening to a conversation between the orphanage manager and the landlord, Finn finds out that unless they earn a large sum of money, the landlord will kick them out.
Determined to make quick cash, Finn heads to the local cassino area to gamble.
At the cassino, an incredibly lucky man challenges Finn, and gets all his money, though the cassino manager decides to take both of them to a conversation in private.
In the room, two mysterious men attack them, both possessing gloves magical powers.
