Medusa Gorgon (メデューサ・ゴーゴン, Medyūsa Gōgon) the main antagonist in the series. She is Crona's mother and a Witch with Snakes as her theme. Medusa is both a very manipulative and deceptive person, much like the snake is commonly depicted as in various beliefs. Similarly to Dr. Stein, she sees everyone and everything as an experiment but she is also willing to use anyone and everyone to further her plans by any means necessary, even to the extent of subjecting her own child to grueling research activities. While in disguise as Shibusen's school nurse, she acts like a very supportive person to conceal her true nature, completely fooling all those who came into contact with her. It is later revealed by Arachne that she has a crush on Dr. Stein for numerous years, which she claims is simply due to his considerable creativity. |
