How to use our Search Compass
Not a computer programmer? Allow me to explain how the Search Compass works.
You are given 4 options to help you quickly find the character you are looking for. I beleive they can best be understood by trying them yourself.
Try This Example
Say you wanted to find a character named 'Hit'. Were we to do as most websites do and treat 'Hit' as 3 letters found anywhere in any character name ( Match Left and Right
), you would have results like this: ![[Image]](https://www.animecharactersdatabase.com/uploads/forum/1-521025412.png)
If you used Exact Match
, you'd find the character you were looking for:![[Image]](https://www.animecharactersdatabase.com/uploads/forum/1-1176658220.png)
