Mitsugu Mouryou’s Anime Review
The Irresponsible Captain Tylor is quite reminiscent of many Sci-Fy shows where the boss is the most dumphy, incompetent moron in the universe, but with a limitless supply of luck. This show contains a very annoying male lead, with low levels of action, and comedy. A unique feature which makes this show good background noise is the interstitial music cues. They employ great bass rifts.. very 80’s and highly funk-i-fied. The plot is lacking (until halfway through), the character design is so so, and the writing(dialog EN/JP/ES) is mediocre at best. All that been said I’d rate Capt. Tylor a 2.2 good background noise, but only worthy of so so attention. Thank you MMAR6 |
