Summary
Sasaki Tsunehiro is a university student with a huge debt, who has been told by his doctor that he has only two years to live. Tsunehiro spends his days feeling depressed.
One day, he is chased by debt collectors and falls into the sea, where he is saved by a girl named Hana who loves fishing and her fishing buddy Takaaki.
At Hana's urging, Tsunehiro tries fishing for the first time in his life, and deepens his friendship with his fishing buddy.
He also starts a part-time job at the convenience store where Hana and Takaaki work, and although he struggles with the complex fishing terminology and the smell of raw nets, he gradually becomes addicted to fishing.
The bite he feels in his hand gives him a real sense of life.
A life of constant downfalls and looking up at the world is not going to change so easily.
But what did Tsunehiro find through fishing...?
