Synopsis
Based on the legend that “seven gods dwell within a single grain of rice,” this story follows the adventures of the seven sisters of the Rice Goddess, known as the “Komekami! Girls.” After their mother (the Rice Goddess, also known as the Rice Goddess Queen) is suddenly summoned back to the heavenly realm and is unable to return to the mortal world, the sisters set out to search for her. From their base in Usa City, Oita Prefecture, they teleport to Hachiman Shrines across Kyushu. As they solve problems in each location, learn about food, and engage in cooking battles, the seven sisters grow and strengthen their bond.
