Born very short in size, Yukinari has always been picked on by girls. His life is so full of violent and abusive girls, that he has become gynophobic, and being touched by a girl causes him to break out in hives. One day, after being kicked in the face by Kirie-chan, he falls in the bathtub and passes through to another world where he meets a very sweet and kind Miharu-chan. Yukinari is surprised to find out that he does not react when being touched by Miharu, and he is amazed at how interested she is in him.
Finally I can review Girls Bravo! Soooo much to be said, in so little time! Another shonen harem tale with a twist: Our male lead, Yukinari, suffers from gynophobia with the one exception: Miharu. Miharu of Seiren, is one of the few remaining individuals with the ‘Star Mark’, and mark on her forehead that allows her to travel between the almost all female world of Seiren and Earth. This is how the whole plot starts, and boy does it get ridiculous! Girls Bravo! has some of my favorite characters of all time: the witchy girl Lisa Fukuyama;Tomo the great and powerful magical girl; the beautiful deadly Miss Lilica Stacy; and Kirie, Stephanie Sheh’s smexiest voice ever… EVER!!(side note: she was the winner of the american Best Voice Actress in an Anime Comedy for this role) Girls Bravo is great fun, but not for the youngins, fore it contains: excessive nudity; almost every filthy innuendo one could think of; bloodshed, but only in the form of high pressure nasal spurts; and Gainaxing aka over animated and/or abnormal breast physics. It bugs me a lot, but not enough to overpower the humorous plot. This is why I give Girls Bravo! a 6.2(out of 10) a must see for over the top, super happy fun time anime clichés
