Fran (フラン) is a Viera warrior, mechanic to the Strahl, and Balthier's copilot. Like all Viera, she is exceptionally sensitive to the magical Mist that permeates Ivarice. She is the oldest of all the characters, with Vieras being very long-lived and still appear youthful.
Fran once lived with her sisters in Eruyt Village, the secluded Viera settlement, but became restless and desired to see the outside world.
