Former rising high school swim team superstar, Aoi Kurosaki suffered from a severe hip injury in the locker room on the day of the All Prefecture Championship, right before the final meet. She slipped when steeling a good luck kiss, from her long time crush/ sweetheart/ friend, Jun Fudo. Jun was shocked, confused, and overall surprised Aoi's actions. She leapt back from her, causing her to slip, fall, and land in a wooden bench, thus injuring her hip. Unable to compete, Aoi was forced her to forfeit the match.
Later while Jun was scouting an inner-city municipal swimming pool, searching for devil beasts, she reconnected with her old high school friend, only to discover the worst...
