快活で裏表のない性格をしており、お人よし。
尻尾を増やす(仙格をあげる)ために小ズルく人間を騙すこともあるが、
もともと人がいいので、どこか抜けていて失敗ばかり。
『ヤミ〜』の頃より成長して尻尾が三本になっていたが、何気なく海辺の街にやってきたところ、
唐突に尻尾が一本減ってしまった(仙格がさがった)。
慌てたメイリンは尻尾を取り戻すべく、勢いだけで突っ走りはじめる。
