　右代宮家に仕える使用人です。紗音同様、福音の家の出身で、金蔵に対する深い忠誠を誓い、片翼の鷲を身にまとうことが許されています。
　勤めは３年ほどになり、使用人たちのローテーションの隙間を埋める形でのシフトを与えられています。その寡黙な勤務態度は評価されていますが、いつも浮かべている淡白な、あるいは不機嫌そうな顔つきのせいで、損をしていることが少なくないようです。
　男性としては線が細く、力仕事は苦手なようです。それに対しコンプレックスがあるようで、力仕事の手伝いの申し出があると頑なに断って、自分ひとりで遂行したがる負けず嫌いなところがあるようです。
　その寡黙な勤務態度は使用人頭である源次にも気に入られているようで、源次を通して金蔵にも若くして気に入られていると言われています。その為、彼もまた息子夫婦たちには金蔵のスパイだと思われており、彼の日々の努力にもかかわらず冷遇されることがあります。
　彼もまた福音の家から右代宮家に使用人としてやってきて、慣れない仕事に苦労し、それを紗音に教えてもらったり、庇ってもらったりしたことがあります。そのことに強く恩義を感じているのか、紗音に対し強い尊敬の念を持ち、彼もまた彼女を姉と呼んで慕っています。
　朱志香に歳の近い異性ということもあってか、母親である夏妃は、嘉音が朱志香に近付くことがないよう目を光らせています。彼には朱志香に対する特別な感情はないのですが、夏妃の過剰な冷遇は時折いじめと呼べるものとなっています。
