I think her outfit was pink, and her hair is either blonde or teal. She was definitely the protagonist and I think that she was also a student as her alter ego.

i might be wrong, but i think you are talking about kamikaze kaito jeanne, she used yellow balls that sticked at walls to swing from A to B, also has long yellow hair and a pink-reddish white outfit.
