First off let me state that these are not the forum rules, those are here , please familiarize yourself with them before posting.

So, if these aren't rules what are they? Just what the title states, guidelines that ultimately should help everyone get the best out of this forum!

[list]One question to a thread please, this doesn't mean you can't have multiple images in a thread, but they should all be related to one id request.If you have multiple characters in multiple images you'd like identified please start multiple threads.[/list]

[list]Please provide as much information as you can, original image name if possible(even if seemingly random), where you got your image, an approximate time when you obtained it(one month ago, two years ago, etc...) and anything else that may possibly be relevant(for example if you've tried to have it id'd elsewhere and someone said it's style reminded them of a particular artist)[/list]

[list]Please provide feedback when your question is answered, a thank you would be great, but at least give us a "yup that's it!".[/list]

[list]If you find your answer elsewhere, please don't leave us hanging! Come back and fill us in![/list]

What will happen if you don't follow these guidelines? Nothing probably, again these aren't rules just guidelines to help the forum staff and volunteers answer your questions and keep things organized.(although we reserve the right to split multi-question posts into separate ones)

Please keep in mind that the people answering your questions are volunteers, no one is getting paid to answer your question. Helping us out by following these guidelines will save everyone some time and make it easier to answer your questions.

While I'm at it, let me encourage you to come back and help out! we're all volunteers here, no special skills or knowledge are needed.(my own knowledge of anime is limited) so come on back once a week, or twice a month and peruse the "Who's This Character" forum, maybe you can help someone out just like we've helped you!^_^
