Yes, you've got that right. JP originating works are what we are trying to keep adding to the site.

I see, I could probably guess it's due to the sheer amounts of even just JP based works out there. And it's hard to maintain and keep track all of them, not to mention it takes up site space too, I guess.

One last question so I can stop derailing this thread. Now I know it takes a lot of work and all to make and maintain sites like these, but is it a possibility if you guys could perhaps someday consider making a sister site for non-JP based work? Seeing as how S. Korea and China are trying to make their own anime stuff, too, and that Japan actually outsources good number of their projects/tasks to S. Korea and Philippines. So we sometimes see in the animes is done by S. KR and PH.

i highly doubt it since korean/chinese/filipino animation is nowhere near as big as japanese anime. you'd be better off making a cartoon characters database or drama characters database

Honestly, I wouldn't rule those out. We do have things like Noblesse and Freezing, so it depends on the style. I might not reject them outright, I'd have to look first. I will reject things like Avatar The Last Airbender and RWBY due to the fact that they are not remotely made in Japan or have any relation Japan aside from stylistic art choice.

Ah I was going to say, because you guys also had Mabinogi, a Korean MMO, which you haven't still removed yet. So when you said non-JP, I thought even KR or other Asian anime stuff were forbidden, and that you were going to remove that one eventually too.
