As you post tutorials in here, I'm hoping you've read the Rules and looked at a few existing tutorials.

A mod or admin will review your tutorial posted in here, and will contact you if it is approved as a thread. They will then post to that thread that it is approved after you complete posting your tutorial thread.

To make things easier, when you are approved to post your tutorials as a new thread, please copy/paste it directly from your post here.

Adding a Character

A tutorial on how to successfully add a character to the database. This tutorial does not tell you how to add a title to the database. It is assumed that you know how to access the adding a character tool and have made sure the character that you are adding does not already exist.

1: Search the database for the title you wish to add a character to

2(a): If the title does not exist, proceed to the “Add Title” toolpage, then proceed to step 3

2(b): If the title exists, click on the title

3: Scroll down to the bottom of the character list (not the character preview)

4: Click on “Add a Character”

5: Fill out the required fields (marked with “(R)”)

6: Browse your computer for a suitable picture

7: Click on “Submit”

2: Copy and paste a link to the title's homepage (if applicable), Wiki, or Getchu

3: Click the “Search” button

4: Click on the “Confirm” checkbox

5: Click on the “Post / Search Again” button

6: Click on “Click Here”

7: Click on the pencil and paper icon in the top right corner of the title detail box

8: Add any extra details that you know

9: Scroll down to the “Post” button

10: Click the “Post” button

Bridging Ethernet to Wireless in Mac OS X

A tutorial on how to bridge the Ethernet port to the Wireless card to create a "wireless access point" with your Apple computer. (This allows you to connect a computer that does not have wireless to your Apple computer via Ethernet to enable the computer to have internet).

1: Open System Preferences

2: Click on Sharing

3: Click on the lock and type in your password to unlock the preference pane (if this applies)

4: Click on Internet Sharing (the text and not the box)

5: Select "Airport" from the "Share your connection from:" drop-down menu

6: Check the checkbox next to "Ethernet" in the "To computers using:" list

7: Lock the preference pane (if this applies)

8: Plug the ethernet cable into the computer
