Not a computer programmer? Allow me to explain how the Search Compass works. You are given 4 options to help you quickly find the character you are looking for. I beleive they can best be understood by trying them yourself.

Try This Example

Say you wanted to find a character named 'Hit'. Were we to do as most websites do and treat 'Hit' as 3 letters found anywhere in any character name ( Match Left and Right ), you would have results like this:



If you used Exact Match , you'd find the character you were looking for:
