Natsume's Book of Friends AKA Natsume Yūjin-chō (夏目友人帳), is a Japanese fantasy manga series by Yuki Midorikawa. It is about Natsume Takashi , an orphaned teenage boy who inherits from his grandmother, Natsume Reiko, the ability to see spirits(yokai/ayakashi), as well as the notebook she used to bind spirits under her control.

It has been adapted as a series of drama CDs, as well as an anime television series produced by Brain's Base. There are currently four seasons for the anime and 13 tankobon for the manga.
